Following another successful “I Love to Read Month” Stony Mountain School thanks all who participated and donated prizes. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Olfert for book donations and the numerous guest readers for helping inspire our students. Thanks to all who made February a fun-filled month of reading.
During “I Love to Read” week, we will be enjoying our Sweet Treat Cafe Book Swap. On February 25th, and in the afternoon on February 24th for Ms. Zinyk’s Kindergarten class, students and staff are invited to give a book, and take a book. Come warm your heart with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book!

Stony Mountain School’s PAC will be selling Stony Mountain clothing. Order forms will be coming home this week and as well they can be found on our website under Fundraising. PAC will have samples of these items on display at the Games Night (January 28th 5-6:30 pm) as well as at Progress Conversations (February 13th 4:30-8:00 pm).
A huge thank you to all those who donated items to our annual Recycle Sale. With the help of students, staff, parents, and volunteers, we raised $507.90 towards future school endeavours. We are looking forward to Recycle Sale 2020! Stony Mountain School Earth Mothers

This means that $1,294.21 worth of new books and materials will be purchased for the library and the reading enjoyment of all.
