On Tuesday, March 7th the Social Justice Club is hosting an “Into The Cold” fundraising walk at Stony Mountain School.
The purpose of the walk is to experience and reflect on what people experiencing homelessness in our province have to endure everyday. Students are encouraged to “Bring a coin and walk in the cold”. We will be donating all money raised to Main Street Project in Winnipeg.
Main Street Project is also is need of adult clothing and toiletries. We will be accepting donations of these items up until March 7th.
